Missed out on the Great British Rail Sale earlier this year? Fear not, there's still a chance to save! CrossCountry are running their own promotion offering up to 50% off across their network. But don't delay, this sale ends Monday 26 January (or when the tickets sell out).
Many of you have already taken advantage, purchasing tickets between stations like Banbury, Reading, Stockport, Cardiff and Bristol. 100,000 tickets are up for grabs in total (on selected services), and both First Class and Standard Class are included in this offer.
You'll need to book at least a week in advance to take advantage, and travel can be as far out as 25 March 2026.
As with the Great British Rail Sale, no Railcard discounts can be used on top of this offer.

How to spot sale fares
Sale tickets will be clearly labelled in your TrainSplit results. If your date and route fall inside the sale windows and discounted seats remain, you’ll see them instantly.
If you don’t see any, it may be because:
- The allocation for your service has sold out (or the service wasn't selected for the discount scheme; operators normally make sale fares available on quieter services - not those in the morning peak).
- You’re searching within the 7 day cut off window.
